The Whole World Forgot Yesterday

After transmigrating into Da Heng, Zhou Jin only wanted to be an obscure clerk at the county office.

That was until the day he watched the county magistrate's funeral with his own eyes, only to see the man take his seat in court again.

His colleagues said the magistrate had never died. The coroner said he had never examined a corpse. The household registers, case files, and local gazetteers all proved the same thing: the magistrate had always been alive.

Only Zhou Jin remembered the yesterday that no longer existed.

At first, he only wanted to prove he wasn't going insane.

But as his investigation went deeper, he discovered that it wasn't just one person's life and death that had changed.

An old case, a family, a city, a war...

Even the dynasty that had endured for a hundred and seventy years might have been built upon another yesterday, one the world had forgotten.

More terrifying still, the people created by the new history had lived just as truly as anyone else.

If one day he could bring yesterday back, would he really have the right to make the people of today disappear?
