This is Xiaosheng's first book. Any corrections are welcome [Journey to the West Setting]
Dongsheng Shenzhou, Qingya Mountain, heavy fog.
The fog is not water vapor, but the turbid air that seeps out from the ground after the spiritual veins are exhausted. The turbid air is like a gray-white snake, crawling slowly along the ridge, swallowing up the dead pines and rocks, and also swallowing up the very faint golden color between the cliffs.
Gold is a stone.
The stone is embedded deep in the cliff, about half a person's height, and its surface is covered with spiderweb-like cracks. There is a faint glimmer of light in the cracks, like a beating heart. If someone looks closely, they can see some kind of dark golden liquid flowing deep in the cracks. It slowly seeps out and is evaporated by the mountain wind, forming a thin scab on the surface of the stone.
