A Tacky Relationship

[A spoiled rich beauty fallen on hard times x a sharp-tongued but soft-hearted, rough local tough.]

[Small-Town Fiction / Mutual Healing / Both Each Other's First / Happy Ending]

Su Tian goes bankrupt and arrives in a small town in Northeast China, heels clicking, to inherit a bathhouse.

When she pushes open the door to the men's section, the room is thick with steam. Lu Chuang walks out with a cigarette in his mouth and nothing on but a bath towel.

Su Tian shuts her eyes and screams, "Pervert!"

Lu Chuang flicks off the ash and sneers. "Owner Su, making the rounds? Like what you see?"

Heavy snow seals off the mountain, and the delicate young lady can't leave. She has no choice but to hang around with these rough men, thermos in hand. The two of them argue at the counter every day over who has to shovel the snow.

Later, Su Tian gazes at the snow outside and casually says she wants to return to the south.

Lu Chuang presses a freshly roasted sweet potato into her hand. With a cigarette between his teeth, he asks in a slightly hoarse voice, "You really have to go? How about taking me with you?"
