My Top Student Tutor Has Had a Crush on Me for Ages

The biggest lie Shen Yan ever told was saying, “I'm a junior,” to a guy who was two months older than him.

For four times the hourly rate, he pretended to be a college student and took a tutoring job. His student, Lu Xingci, was a spoiled rich kid who scored thirty-two in math but won prizes for his paintings, and ordered people around without a hint of shame.

Shen Yan: I'll put up with it. The person paying is always right.

He put up with acting aloof, and with not looking at the shining eyes of the boy as he painted. He put up with it until he'd loved him for six years without daring to say a word.

Lu Xingci was even more clueless, taking all of Shen Yan's signs of affection as “professional responsibility as a tutor.”

Handwritten notes? How responsible.

A hidden umbrella he'd kept for three years? This guy's really frugal.

Crossing half the city to bring him medicine? That's great service.

It wasn't until he broke his leg on a sketching trip and Shen Yan stayed by his side in the hospital for three days and nights that he finally realized, “Do you like me?”

The tips of Shen Yan's ears turned red. “No.”

Later, after Shen Yan's mother passed away, Shen Yan tried to run. Lu Xingci pinned him against the wall. “You've been secretly in love with me for six years, and now you want to run? Too late.”

From school uniforms to suits, from “I'm a junior” to “I love you”...

At last, the spoiled young master exposed the top student's long-hidden crush himself.
