My Magic Teacher Told Me to Believe in Science

[Ensemble Cast] [Two Protagonists] [No System] [Logical Deduction] Nuclear physics PhD Xiong Cheng and four other Earthlings are forcibly dragged into the Sacred Radiance Continent by the Church's Hero Summoning Array.

They think they've been transported between worlds, but soon discover a horrifying truth: the so-called heroes are artificial bodies made on an altar by the gods, each branded with a tracking mark.

The Church monopolizes magic, attributing all supernatural phenomena to miracles from the Goddess of Wisdom. With the demon race at the borders and the royal family and Church scheming against each other, the five heroes are targeted for assassination as soon as they arrive, instantly becoming pawns fought over by every faction.

Some dream of building a harem, some cozy up to the powerful, and some just want to stay alive.

Xiong Cheng takes up beakers and magic crystals to use physics and biology to uncover the fundamental truth behind magic. Shi Ruoyun awakens a talent for casting spells without incantations and tries to change the tide of battle with industrial technology. The Sword King, Vicky, bears a death curse and chooses to become Shi Ruoyun, the female hero's, attendant, seeking a way to break the curse amid political intrigue and bloodshed.

When reason pierces theological lies, and science clashes with magic, they must fight not only the invading demons, but also a hypocritical regime cloaked in divine authority.
