[Ensemble cast | No romance | Heroic and tragic wuxia | High angst]
A century-old code shackles the martial world, while the imperial court holds all the power, leaving the path of chivalry barely passable. Six teenagers from humble backgrounds are brought together by fate. Unwilling to be swept along by the rules, they take up their swords and rise against the tide.
They brave perilous passes, battle treacherous villains, and face the court's retainers and the dynasty's iron cavalry, challenging the decaying chains weighing down the martial world with nothing but their burning conviction.
The road ahead is shrouded in mist and undercurrents surge. A far greater storm is quietly brewing in the depths of the martial world.
Very early and traditional martial arts style, reminds me of when I was a child and secretly read Jin Yong's novels. It's great for listening to books, but it's a pity it's not read by real people.
