History Gap Record

Official history is written about emperors, generals and ministers. I am writing about people who have not been written about in official history. Working as a cobbler, a cobbler, a cobbler, recording things at the ferry, and writing in the torture chamber—these professions that are not included in the official history have lived and died in the gaps of history. Living in the cracks of the times, relying on their trade skills passed down from generation to generation, they accidentally stumbled upon serious injustices that had been altered in the files and buried by the years. Some people glimpsed the truth, some tried to verify it, and some could leave nothing behind. Sixteen completely independent historical suspense stories follow the changes of dynasties from Ming to Qin, and there is no protagonist throughout the book. Together they are a portrait of a group of low-level professions that lasted for thousands of years. At the end of each article, there are historical sources to support each other.
