A bottle of mineral water strikes Chen Mo above the brow.

The security officer clearly sees what happened, but only tells the girl to “stop making a scene.” Chen Mo splashes water back at her and is immediately restrained.

The next day, an eleven-second video with the events leading up to it cut out turns the entire internet against him.

After leaving the security office, Chen Mo starts a livestream and plays the full footage. “I admit I hit back, but why was the fact that she struck first deleted?”

From seeking justice for himself to helping ordinary people hurt by malicious edits, false accusations, and double standards, Chen Mo founds the Same Measure Studio. It cares only about evidence and takes no one’s side based on gender.

But he soon discovers that the extreme male and female accounts that hate each other online all come from the same MCN.

Some people make money by sowing division. He is determined to hold everyone to the same standard.
