In the early 1980s, the wave of reform and opening up swept across rural China. The protagonist travels to Liuxi Village in the mountainous area of western Hunan and becomes "Lin Heng", the most evil person in all the villages. There are hidden rules in this world - the "Non-Good System": when being resented, insulted, or cursed by others, the protagonist's luck will soar (hunting will be rewarded, business will be profitable, and misfortunes will be turned into good fortune); once he is truly grateful and praised by others, he will immediately encounter bad luck (overturning, losing money, being investigated, or getting injured). The luck value is measured by the "malice value". The higher the malice value, the greater the luck; once the gratitude value exceeds the threshold, a "natural punishment" level disaster will be triggered.
