Honghuang: Clinging to Hongjun's Coattails from the Start

When Lin Yan transmigrated to the primordial world at the dawn of chaos, he was reborn as a top-tier innate spiritual root atop Mount Yujing: an ancient Dao-Enlightenment cypress. Rooted in Hong Jun's sacred cultivation grounds, he was born with an exceptional talent for enlightenment. He could absorb the Dao's rhythms of Heaven and Earth on his own and comprehend the laws of the myriad heavens. The moment he awoke, he also activated his exclusive Primordial Sign-In System, quietly setting him on a path to defy the heavens. Knowing that the primordial world was rife with danger and endless calamities, where even ants could perish, he understood that only by sticking close to the most powerful figures could he survive in peace. Not yet able to take human form, he resolved to cling to Hong Jun and seek opportunities while avoiding disaster.

For countless ages, Hong Jun sat in meditation on Mount Yujing, studying the Dao and probing its mysteries, indifferent to worldly affairs. All the nearby spiritual creatures feared the Dao Ancestor's majesty and dared not approach. Only the ancient Dao-Enlightenment cypress stood by his side day and night. Beneath the blazing sun, it spread its lush branches to shade him from the heat. When storms came, it stood firm, shielding him from wind and rain. Year after year, it never left his side, quietly serving and devoting itself to the Dao in the form of a plant. Hong Jun saw and remembered its sincere, day-after-day vigil and its pure heart devoted to the Dao.

Nurtured by the boundless rhythms of the Dao and bolstered by the System's benefits, the ancient cypress reached perfection. It shed its plant form, gathered a refined Daoist body, and successfully took human form. Moved by its years of faithful companionship, Hong Jun admired its extraordinary comprehension and pure heart, and made an exception by taking it as a personal disciple. Thus, a new direct disciple of the Dao Ancestor entered the primordial world. With an extraordinary sign-in System and a supreme source of Dao-enlightenment power in hand, and the strongest backer in the primordial world behind him, he devoted himself to cultivation and steadily advanced. He weathered one primordial calamity after another, surging ever onward until he transcended the myriad heavens and attained the supreme Great Dao of the Primordial Unity.
