I Wrote Love Letters for the School Hunk, but They Were Addressed to Me

[Love Letters Written for Hire]+ [The Campus Hunk Has a Secret Crush]+ [Sweet Romance with a Twist]+ [Mutual Pining]

Jiang Ning has a secret side hustle at university: she writes love letters for other people.

Fifty yuan a letter, revisions and polish included, guaranteed to make them cry.

What else is a Chinese literature major’s talent for, if not putting it to use?

She’s been at it for two years, with 105 orders and not a single mishap.

Until order number 106: an anonymous client, five hundred yuan in cash, and a note.

The note had three lines:

One: Write me a love letter.

Two: It’s for the girl I’ve had a crush on for two years.

Three: Her name is Jiang Ning. She’s a third-year Chinese literature major.

Jiang Ning stared at her own name for a full three minutes. She could think of only one word: ridiculous.

Even more ridiculous, she gritted her teeth and finished the letter. The client replied:

“You wrote it beautifully, but it doesn’t feel real. Only I know the little things that show how I’ve really been in love with you.”

Three days later, in the back row of a lecture hall in the Chinese literature department,

Ji Chendu, the law department’s most famously taciturn campus hunk, spoke to someone first for the very first time.

He handed her a handwritten letter.

His handwriting was awful, and his wording clumsy.

But every word burned her heart.
