Age of Discovery: The Naval Marshal's Righteous Fire

Outside the capital, Tianjing, thirty ironclad warships have their cannons trained on the Imperial City.

The Imperial Guard commander’s hand trembles on his sword. Just moments ago, that man had set someone ablaze in the middle of the street, burning a powerful noble alive until he was nothing but charred remains.

Lin Beichen, the sharpest blade of the Great Ocean Empire.

He once believed himself the dynasty’s most loyal shield, until he came across a little girl in the hold of a slave ship, her tongue cut out and despair in her eyes.

Only then did he understand: the pirates he had spent half his life pursuing and exterminating were no more than petty thieves on the surface of the sea. The real den of man-eaters lay within the high walls, in the halls of government!

The powerful had twisted the law until it was nothing but a dead letter. So he would rip open that airtight net with cannon fire.

If the court refused to deliver justice, he would turn the guns around and make warships his axe, and flames his punishment.

When an invincible ocean fleet no longer obeys the court, the old order has reached its end.
