Global Survival in the Gray Mist: I Corrupt All Things into Evil Gods

[Everyone's Survival + Gray Fog Descends + Mild Horror + Evil Gods + Cthulhu + Cursed Objects + Farming]

Lin Mo opens his eyes to find himself in an unfamiliar forest.

All around him are sinister trees bearing scarlet, evil eyes. Only the campfire by his feet offers a little warmth.

Every human on Blue Star has been transported here too.

This is the Mist World. Fire is the hope that holds back the gray fog, and the starting campfire can burn for only one day. Once it goes out, death is inevitable.

Fortunately, every survivor can draw a talent, and Lin Mo draws the one and only hidden SSS-rank talent.

Horrorfication!

Whenever he reaches certain levels, he can turn one item into a cursed object.

Cursed objects can evolve, and after each evolution, Lin Mo gains at least one S-rank talent.

Each time he levels up, he also gains attribute points, and the number increases with the number of cursed objects he owns.

So he turns the campfire into cursed fire: it never goes out and burns every horror within its circle.

He turns a wooden cabin into a cursed domain: within its bounds, every being is completely suppressed.

He turns soil into cursed fields: crops grown there may undergo sinister changes.

As his cursed objects evolve, Lin Mo also gains talents above S-rank.

Unknowable: Immune to divination.

Source of Horror: Reversely corrupts anyone who attacks the Host's mind.

Sacrificial Summoning: Sacrifice cursed-object materials to summon an avatar of the Old Ones.

And so, amid the freezing black tide, while the other survivors tremble and sell their bodies and souls just to stay alive,

Lin Mo is in the warmth of his cursed domain, with undying cursed fire at his side, gazing at the Old Ones outside his window.

“Eat you, and I'll ascend to become an evil god.”
