I really like the characters in this book! Xie Zhiyu disguises herself as a man and becomes the tutor. She is outstanding in both literary and military skills, is calm and tolerant, and is burdened with many secrets. The young prince Xiao Yanchen has been stubborn and rebellious, but is slowly moved by the tutor time and time again in times of getting along and in danger. The intrigues in the court are written with many twists and turns, and the famous scenes such as the game against the party, patrolling incognito, and sacrificing one's life to block the knife are all gripping. The sense of taboo between master, disciple, monarch and minister is just right. There is no industrial saccharine, and the feelings are cultivated bit by bit. The characters are not flat, they have struggles and concerns, and the interests of family and country are intertwined with personal emotions. The plots are intertwined and the foreshadowing is well laid out. I can't stop reading. I really hope more people will read this good book!
