The System told Lin Zhi'an that his targets were the five people who would enter the dormitory after him.
At first, Lin Zhi'an was happy that he could play games with his roommates.
After all, the System had said that once a roommate was successfully won over, their memories would be automatically erased and they would return to the dormitory.
But when he got back to the dormitory, he heard the System blare an alarm:
"Unknown malfunction detected. Data purge failed. Memories retained!"
The fourth and fifth people to enter the dormitory were two older boys from next door who had grown up with Lin Zhi'an.
Lin Zhi'an was delighted to see them, only to discover that neither of them recognized him.
The System said helplessly, "Their affection scores were already maxed out when they entered, so I had no choice but to erase their memories."
