I Just Won First Place in the Martial Arts Tournament, and Now There’s a Recruit Training System

After five years in the army, Lin Fei had transformed from an ordinary recruit into an all-around elite soldier.

At the whole regiment's competition, Lin Fei easily took first place in every event.

Just as the regimental commander was about to recommend him for the Mountain Lion Special Forces Brigade, the Recruit Training System arrived.

[Congratulations on becoming an honorable recruit. Recruit training missions are now underway. Complete them to earn rewards.]

[Mission: Ask your squad leader for tips, then fold your blanket into a regulation tofu block within five minutes.]

Lin Fei: ?

I'm an elite soldier about to join the special forces, and you want me to learn how to fold a tofu block?

[Reward: Slight physical enhancement]

Lin Fei: Ahem...

“Commander, I've thought it over. I'm not quite strong enough yet. I think I'll stay with the regiment and train for a while!”

“Lin Fei, joining the Mountain Lion Special Forces Brigade is every soldier's dream. Are you sure you want to give up this opportunity?”

“I'm sure.”

From then on, the whole regiment was turned upside down.

“Lin Fei, you're not joining Mountain Lion, but you're coming to me to learn how to fold a tofu block?”

The squad leader stared at the tofu block before him, which was even neater than his own, and fell into deep thought.

“Brother Fei, give it a rest! I'm nowhere near good enough to be your opponent!”

The veteran was driven to distraction by Lin Fei, who kept asking him to spar.

“Brother Lin Fei, you're an elite soldier. You don't need to come help out in the cookhouse!”

The cookhouse squad leader watched Lin Fei constantly tossing food in a wok, looking terrified.

The commander covered his face helplessly. “Lin Fei, is this what you meant when you said you wanted to train with the regiment?”

“Folding blankets, cooking, feeding pigs... This is what you call training?”
