Great Ming: I Roast Old Zhu, and Emperors of Every Dynasty Plead for Him

Lu Yuan transmigrates to the Hongwu era of the Ming Dynasty and binds himself to the “Eternal Sage System.”

As long as Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang orders his execution, Lu Yuan can return to the modern world with unparalleled cultivation!

Desperate to get home, Lu Yuan becomes the Ming Dynasty's most notorious loudmouth and embarks on a reckless campaign to court death.

At court, he denounces the Huang Ming Zuxun as a book that will bring down the dynasty. He secretly builds seagoing ships and rescues a traitor, dancing all over Zhu Yuanzhang's tripwires.

Furious, Zhu Yuanzhang immediately orders him to be executed by a thousand cuts!

What Zhu Yuanzhang doesn't know is that a “Ming Dynasty Emperors Through the Ages Chat Group” has suddenly appeared in his mind.

Just as the execution order is signed, the chat group erupts!

Chongzhen falls to his knees and sobs: “Great Ancestor, spare Lord Lu! The Maritime Power Theory he left behind let your grandson plant the Ming dragon banner across the globe!”

Jiajing wails: “Don't kill Sage Lu! His new commercial tax law filled the Ming treasury, so your grandson can even afford to cultivate immortality!”

Zhu Di jumps up in alarm: “Father, if you dare touch my imperial mentor, your son will rebel in Beiping at once!”

Watching his descendants from later generations worship Lu Yuan like mad, Zhu Yuanzhang is utterly dumbfounded.

How could this man be a treacherous rebel? He's clearly the greatest sage in the history of the Ming Dynasty!

Everything takes a sudden turn: instead of killing Lu Yuan, the emperor tries to force him into marriage with his most beloved princess.

Lu Yuan is on the verge of tears. “I just wanted a quick death. How did I end up as the godfather of the Ming Empire?”
