[Late Sui power struggle + calculating tactics + no mindless wish fulfillment + one heroine + slow pace]

“Everyone tells me that whoever controls Guanzhong controls the realm, and that siding with Li Shimin is a guaranteed win? Well, I refuse! Reincarnated as a dying foot soldier, I head to Hebei to make a spectacle of myself. Dou Wenyuan suspects me, Li Mi keeps me at arm's length, and Li Yuan laughs that a donkey must have kicked my brains in.

But how could they know I've played through this chaotic era's script eight hundred times already? I'll organize the army, develop agriculture, and build the Great Xia into a force of a hundred thousand armored soldiers! At Tong Pass, facing off against them, I brandish my spear and laugh: ‘Li Shimin, does this throne come with a warranty?’”
