I turned the fact that I loved her into a book.
The book became a bestseller. For the first time, our names appeared side by side on the copyright page:
Author: Shen Wang. Editor: Xu Xue.
It was the only place our names could stand side by side.
On the day the book was published, she sent me one final message, just two words: Don't wait.
Then she quit her job and disappeared. No one could find her.
Now, in the winter of the third year, I've returned to Hangzhou, ready to give this book a different ending.
At the end of the signing line stands someone who looks just like her.
