[Female protagonist] [Always on the way to getting cuddled]
When she first arrived in Teyvat, she had yet to take human form. She was only a little white-furred rabbit, until the Dust Archon, Guizhong, found her in the wilderness and brought her home, naming her Wangshu.
Under Guizhong’s care, she slowly grew up, using her innate abilities to protect the mortals under her care.
Her accumulated merit eventually helped her break free of the restraints of her animal form and become human.
When the Archon War broke out, she joined Guizhong in Morax’s camp. On the battlefield, she risked her life to pull Guizhong back from the brink of death. In recognition, the Geo Lord bestowed upon her the title “True Adeptus Huaiyue Liansheng.”
After the war, she exchanged her vast merit for an independent realm beyond Teyvat’s laws: the Huaiyue Abode.
Only those of upright character, or those she deemed destined to meet her, could find its entrance. With her permission, her friends could also come and go freely with a mere thought.
The abode was an ancient, elegant courtyard bathed in perpetual moonlight, with osmanthus trees and medicinal herbs growing everywhere. It was divided into private living quarters and the Xingxing Hall, where she saw patients. The plaque above the hall read: “No questions asked about where you came from; only the deepest ailments need healing.”
As the years passed, disaster from the Abyss struck Liyue. The Geo Lord departed for Khaenri'ah, leaving Liyue’s defenses depleted, and monsters surged out of The Chasm.
Wangshu escorted the people of Guili Assembly to safety in Liyue Harbor. At the harbor cliffs, she spent a thousand years of cultivation and her lunar essence to raise a moonlit barrier that shielded the entire city.
The barrier crushed the Abyssal tide, but she was utterly spent and sank into a deathlike slumber.
After the disaster, Guizhong and the other adepti tearfully carried her back to the Huaiyue Abode.
For the next five hundred years, Guizhong sat quietly by her bed. The adepti often came to watch over her, and even Morax would sometimes stop by in secret.
The courtyard’s osmanthus fragrance returned year after year, and the moonlight fell as always. Her face remained unchanged as she slept in silence, waiting for the day she would awaken…
