Can Someone Worthless Like Me... Become an Immortal?

A Young Hero's Journey #EnsembleComingOfAge #FatedFeuds #SwashbucklingVendettas #XianxiaAndWuxia #MutualDevotion #A Ballad of a Troubled Age

A ban on martial arts, imposed a century ago, still hangs over the land, while storms brew beneath the surface of the jianghu.

A Chen, a servant boy of the Zhao family, scrapes by in the cracks, bearing a lifetime of humiliation and enduring half a lifetime in silence. When his family is wiped out, he flees to a ruined temple, where a reclusive immortal plants a blazing sun Dao seed within him.

With his bare fists, he strides into a chaotic age. A red-clad woman with a short sword stands by his side, and a white-robed youth shares his ideals.

Evil puppets plague the mountains and forests, sinister threads claim lives, and undercurrents surge through the imperial court as old unsolved cases slowly come to light.

The young hero bears secrets about his origins. He does not seek to ascend to the heavens as an immortal; he only wants to protect the friends at his side.

No matter how treacherous the road ahead, he will carry the fire into the jianghu. With a young hero's passionate heart, he will not betray the chance to meet those he encounters in this world.
