This is a sugary-sweet romance between Qin Shangcheng, the arrogant tyrant of the seas, and Hua Rong, a chivalrous young woman from a military family. Hua Rong runs away from home to pursue her dream of becoming a heroine, but through a series of mishaps, she nearly becomes the island's captive bride. After overcoming many hardships, Hua Rong finally escapes the island. But Qin Shangcheng, already deeply in love with her, refuses to give up easily and sets off on a long journey to win her back. Blending tales of the martial world with a romance that begins with marriage, the drama unfolds as a new costume romance about an angel and a devil searching for where their hearts belong.
