[Informative] [Lighthearted]
After transmigrating, Chen Mo arrives in the prehistoric age when Yu the Great is taming the floods.
While the world struggles for life and death, fights for the throne, and pursues supremacy, he alone holds the secret of eternal life, watching humanity through the ages.
He saw Yu the Great channel the floods and divide the land into the Nine Provinces;
He witnessed the collapse of the rites and music of the Shang and Zhou dynasties, and the endless flames of war during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods;
He watched Qin unify the land, witnessed the rivalry between Chu and Han, and saw the heroes of the Three Kingdoms vie for supremacy;
The thousands of lights of Chang'an in the prosperous Tang, the misty splendor of the Song, and the rise and fall of the Ming and Qing dynasties...
He drank and discussed the world with Ying Zheng, talked beneath the moon with Zhuge Liang, composed poems over wine with Li Bai, and chatted with Li Shimin about the rise and fall of dynasties.
Dynasties rise and fall, heroes turn to bones, beauties to dust. All those who once commanded the winds and clouds eventually become specks of dust in history.
From the age of Yu the Great, he journeyed all the way to modern times.
Five thousand years passed, and only Chen Mo endured forever.
A solemn note: This book will never alter the course of official history. All major historical events strictly adhere to the historical record!
He does not vie for supremacy, claim a throne, or meddle in the course of the world. Chen Mo is merely a quiet spectator in the tide of history.

After reading, I understand the author's creative intentions. The characters run through the long river of history. I understand history unconsciously. I learn from it the changes in characters and dynasties in China for five thousand years. The writing is smooth and I unknowingly increase my historical knowledge while reading! This book is worth reading!
I didn't want to read it after reading the introduction. I wrote about immortality for the sake of so-called immortality. I wanted to see the kind of poor guy who participated in it and did something, tried something in the torrent of history, failed or succeeded. At first glance, this kind of introduction is equivalent to being written by someone who is guilty of literary youth, complaining about nothing, even if I don't read it, I will give it four stars. Whether it's a fairy tale or a longevity novel, the so-called immortality is just a by-product of the process. I can't stand the reversal of priorities.
