A genius female disciple adored by everyone & her sweet-faced, black-hearted, hypocritical master
[Hypocritical saint, villain behind bars, body-cultivation comeback, taking charge of the sect]
Everyone at Nanshan Sect reveres Daoist Lian Qing.
He is stunningly beautiful and gentle as jade, the great elder who holds the sect together. Everyone hopes he will succeed the sect leader.
No one knows that this universally praised saint is, inside, dark and obsessive, burdened with countless sins.
Born into poverty, he resents everyone blessed with exceptional talent and an easy life. He pretends to be kind to Wen Chengjin, the orphaned daughter of his senior sister, but years of attentive care and tender protection are all an act.
He spares no effort teaching disciples with powerful connections, yet deliberately seals off Wen Chengjin’s talent for swordsmanship, leaving her to train through sheer brute force until she becomes a top body cultivator.
He secretly siphons off the sect’s resources, using secret realms as a pretext to drain the life force of unconnected prodigies and erase them, climbing to the top over a trail of blood.
On the day of his investiture as sect leader, Wen Chengjin presents irrefutable evidence and exposes all his hypocritical crimes before everyone.
Chen Cuisheng is disgraced and flees for his life, only to be gravely wounded and subdued.
Everyone believes the criminal disciple is about to die. Only Wen Chengjin cannot quiet the selfish feelings in her heart. Tangled in love and hatred, she secretly imprisons him in a hidden dungeon.
Once, her master stifled her talent and concealed her brilliance.
Now, she takes away his freedom and shackles the rest of his life.
The beautiful villain behind bars refuses to repent or die, plotting to escape every day. Meanwhile, the once-innocent girl will take charge of the sect, climb to the very top, and keep him imprisoned for the rest of his life.
