Ten Pinnacle Novels in the Mortal Cultivation Genre
A recommendation from a twelve-year veteran bookworm. Every one of these has something special: "A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality", "Renegade Immortal", "Striving for the Dao", "Hundred Refinements to Immortality", "Bright Jade True Immortal", "The Road to Immortality", "The Path of Immortal Cultivation", "Seeking the Immortal Way", and "The Fate-Extinguishing Record".
Looking for Stories With a Similar Approach to A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality
After finishing A Record of a Mortal's Journey to Immortality, other cultivation novels feel a bit too contrived. It's easy to guess where the plot is going: the protagonist meets a powerful foe and either 1) hides his true abilities, 2) turns the tables just before dying, 3) lets his enemies fight each other and then swoops in to reap the rewards, or 4) gets taken on as a disciple by some old man. It's okay so far, but the resources in the mortal world are scarce. Not only in the human world, but also in the spirit world, the status of human beings is very low, and resources are also scarce. Practicing Mahayana monks can fight for resources for tens of thousands of years. The heroine cannot ascend without a golden finger. Even if she hugs Han Li's thigh, Han Li is very selfish. Even Nangong Wan can't get anything good. She is just an apprentice. It is impossible to help her ascend to the gods. Maybe the resources for the birth of a baby will not be given and she has to find it by herself.
What's written is really true, and it's worth reading. But the four idiots on the cover didn't stop me.
Although there are some minor shortcomings in details, it is still the most comfortable one I have ever seen. No, no, no (crying sound)
It's good-looking and worth watching. Good luck to the author.
Why are so few people watching?
I suggest the author write more about Liu Yu's training and less about these miscellaneous matters.
Not bad, in line with the anime setting
The characters in it are all very consistent with the original work or animation, and are not OOC.
It's okay, waiting for further development
