Hogwarts: Chef Ling's Magical Everyday Life

Ling is sent flying by a construction truck from the thirtieth floor and into a world of magic. Other people transmigrate as chosen ones or future Dark Lords, but he ends up a penniless orphan from Wool's Orphanage.

After finally making it to Hogwarts, the Sorting Hat asks him, "Which house do you want to join?" Ling replies, "Whichever one is closest to the kitchen."

And so, he becomes the most outrageous new Hufflepuff student ever.

Other people practice spells to fight. He practices them so pots can stir-fry by themselves. Other people stay up late to improve their grades. He stays up late teaching House-elves how to make fried dough sticks.

Snape: "You're using a soup-stock method in Potions Class?"

Dumbledore: "Could I have another serving of this Muggle snack?"

Hermione: "...It's not bad. Only a hundred times better than the food in the school kitchen."

Ling's response: "Wizards, broaden your horizons."

How can fighting and killing compare to a few good meals?

If you don't take eating seriously, there's something wrong with your brain.

As for magic, that can wait until I've finished stewing this pot of soup.
