Zhang Jiao thrusts a heavenly text into my hands: “Help me save the people of this Han dynasty.”
Zhang Liang draws his blade before me: “Why shouldn’t we get to sit on the throne for once?”
Lu Zhi lowers his eyes from inside his prison cart: “Can you save this crumbling Han dynasty?”
Young Zhang He’s eyes sparkle: “Got it! We’ll rob them in masks and block the roads with fires!”
I have only one thing to say:
Drink more hot water, and go to bed early and get up early.
I transmigrate to the late Eastern Han dynasty, with no System.
Just a fragment of a book, a group of people on the brink of death, and an eleven-year-old’s shoulders.
If you’re tired of transmigration power fantasies where the protagonist is invincible from the start and their System is maxed out,
then here you’ll find a pair of hands smeared with black mud, trying to claw their way out, bit by bit, from the muck at the bottom of a chaotic age.
The pace in the early stage is really slow, with some laughs and the helplessness of the low-level characters in the Three Kingdoms era. Overall, it is well written, not a cool novel, but more like a first-person history book.
