Eerie Descent: I Became a Haunt and Now Hunt Down the Rules

[Bizarre Infinite-World Survival + Turning the Rules Against Their Creators + Strong Female Lead, No Romance + Daoist Arts to Slay the Bizarre + National Fate Instances + International Rivalry]

Qin Yue worked herself to death from overtime. She thought she had finally clocked out for good, but when she opened her eyes again, she had been thrown into a bizarre-world instance. Here, a single rule could cost you your life, a contract could change your identity, and even a memory could be judged by the System as something that should or shouldn’t be kept. While everyone else desperately memorized the rules and searched for a way to survive, Qin Yue couldn’t stand any of that. A rule was unreasonable? Tear it apart. Someone was using the rules to hurt others? Take them down too. She fought her way through instance after instance, following the clues back to the mysterious Wuzi Group, only to discover that many of the rules it controlled had actually come from her own sect, Wuzi Temple. Even more absurdly, when sealed records from hundreds of years ago were reopened, she learned that the “source of the rules” she had pursued for so long was connected to her. She had always believed she was simply someone chosen by the Heavenly Dao, until she finally discovered the truth: she wasn’t someone chosen by the Heavenly Dao at all. She was the Heavenly Dao itself. In this life, she had turned herself into Qin Yue and truly lived as an ordinary person. She had lived, suffered, and even died once. So she knew better than anyone that people should decide for themselves how to live.
