The Legend of the Celestial Maiden Sang Li

Sang Li was once an ordinary mulberry tree in the mortal world. After cultivating into an immortal, she became a maid to one of the Seven Fairies.

After serving her mistress for a thousand years, she suddenly learned that the Seven Fairy was vicious and fiercely jealous. Many maids had been stripped of their bodies and turned into objects.

Sang Li kept her head down while searching for an opportunity. At last, when Sun Wukong wreaked havoc in Heaven, she escaped to the mortal world with a group of “objects.”

Sang Li found a way to restore their ability to move. The immortal maids recognized her as their leader, and she led them through the mortal world as they continued to cultivate.

After Wukong was imprisoned, the Seven Fairy reported Sang Li to the Queen Mother and went to capture her, but Tianpeng intervened. Resentful, she schemed with Chang'e to frame Tianpeng.

When Sang Li saw Tianpeng again, he had become an ugly wild boar, burdened with an important mission from Buddhism. The two lovers were destined never to be together for all eternity.

Sang Li swore that she would make the Seven Fairy and Chang'e pay a terrible price...

And so our story begins!
