The Xiangxi Underground River Ruins

Deep in the mountains of western Hunan lies Luhe Town, sealed away by rain for a hundred years.

It rains there all year round. The old streets are eerily silent and deserted, and tourists keep disappearing under mysterious circumstances. They say footsteps can be heard in empty houses at night, and that a mysterious mechanism lies underground, ready to swallow anyone who enters.

Lu Chen, a folk-culture expedition leader, assembles a team to investigate the forbidden zone and uncover the truth. His companions are Elaine Lei Xin, a top-notch French archaeologist and fighter; Zhao Lei, brave and straightforward; and Lin Xi, a remarkable young woman who can sense miasma beneath the ground.

Step by step, they pierce the fog surrounding the ancient town and enter an underground river sealed away for a century, where they uncover an enormous secret construction left behind by the ancients.

There are no ghosts or spirits at work, only a century-old buried history, deadly miasma, and a chain of lethal mechanisms. A heart-pounding expedition into the underground depths of western Hunan begins.
