Gentle, obedient top student & arrogant, cool racing driver
CP: Ji Yangyang
As the daughter of a diplomat stationed overseas, Shu Yao spent the first eighteen years of her life dealing with time differences between countries and endless goodbyes.
In her senior year of high school, her parents finally completed their assignment and returned home, settling her at Scholars' Garden beside Chunfeng High School.
Shu Yao is a "boring" girl who perfectly fits the public's idea of a top student: at school, she only studies; she has no hobbies and barely speaks.
The truth is, she studies at school, and at home, bored, all she does is read novels. If you don't know her, she's a cold, aloof iceberg; once you do, she's an absolute chatterbox.
Most importantly, Shu Yao has no idea what she wants to do with her life. She has no career plans and no picture of what she wants in a boyfriend.
But that all changed dramatically the summer Shu Yao transferred to Chunfeng High School.
