No mindless action + strategy + executing Heaven's will + urban supernatural powers + two female leads + partly feel-good
"Heaven's Execution Marquis" is an appointed executioner who steps beyond the order of the Three Realms, tasked by Heaven's will with dealing with those who should have died but still cling to life.
Ye Chuan: "The greatest punishment delayed justice can inflict on a villain is letting them die of old age!"
"I will make sure that everyone gets what they deserve in this life, here and now!"
Heaven's appointed reaper, ending unnatural lives and restoring order.
Those afflicted by this tribulation bear the Dao's death sentence and become vessels for Heaven's execution. This is a calamity of unparalleled menace.
Nine out of ten who meet the Marquis die. The fate of those caught in the tribulation is impossible to predict.
Ye Chuan was once a dying man who refused to accept his fate. Heaven's will chose him to become its executioner. Once he entered Heaven's service, he passed through several cycles of reincarnation, spending half his life slaughtering those who sacrificed to the Dao.
