I'm really strong. I just don't want to fight.
Special forces soldier Zhao Da dies on a mission and wakes up as a deserter in the Yanmen border army of the Great Qian Dynasty. With enemy soldiers chasing him, he takes off running, only to go the wrong way and charge straight into their camp. While sneaking off with some dry rations, he "accidentally" knocks over an oil lamp and burns half a year's worth of enemy provisions. The whole camp cheers: "What a hero!" Zhao Da: ...I just want to go home and bask in the sun.
From that day on, the layabout soldier is stuck in the hot seat. His superiors offer him a promotion, so he pretends to be sick. The enemy challenges them to battle, so he plays dead. The daughter of the Helan family sees right through him and glares at him every day as if her eyes were knives. But whenever he makes it halfway through an escape, he sees his brothers wounded or civilians being slaughtered, turns back, takes down the enemy general in three moves, and says with an innocent look, "It was an accident."
Zhao Da thinks he's putting on a pretty good act. But somehow, he ends up with a band of brothers who refuse to leave his side, a woman who understands him better than he understands himself, and a pile of enemies who want his head. The harder he tries to stay out of trouble, the more credit gets heaped on him, until he becomes the God of War of the Northern Frontier, a title he never wanted.
And the fire he "accidentally" started burns all the way to the capital.
A breezy, satisfying tale of a stubborn king, brotherhood, and laughter through tears. See how a man who just wants to bask in the sun gets pushed along by fate, grumbling every step of the way as he wins an entire age of chaos.
The text is full of pictures, the narrative rhythm is relaxed and moderate, and the characters are vivid and three-dimensional. The plot is cleverly conceived and the foreshadowing is natural, which can quickly bring readers into the atmosphere of the story. In some places, you can fine-tune the sentences and polish the details. The overall degree of completion is very high 👍👍👍
From the little people struggling to survive in the rebel army, to the melee between the enemy and ourselves at the border, every step is frightening, and how difficult it is for a cannon fodder soldier to save his life.
Like it💕I really like watching it
There is nothing outstanding about this book so far. I believe there will be eye-catching masterpieces in the future!
Interesting, I like the relaxed writing style. They've all traveled through time, Don't make yourself bitter and resentful.
It's foggy and fascinating!
