[Modern urban high martial arts + episodic stories + ensemble cast + passionate and healing (and heartbreaking) + defending home and country] Lu Zheng runs a shop that restores the belongings of the dead. By restoring damaged martial artists’ remains and broken weapons, he can see the memories of the dead from when they were alive. Fulfilling their final wishes makes him stronger. Soon, all kinds of strange customers begin to visit his little shop. A retired veteran missing his right arm brings in a nicked battle saber, asking Lu Zheng to mend the regret he feels over failing to protect his comrades; A six-year-old orphan of a fallen hero cradles a shattered music box, hoping to hear her father’s lullaby one more time; A fiancée who has kept watch over an empty grave for seven years clutches a broken jade pendant, waiting for a confession that will never be delivered. Lu Zheng repairs one weapon after another, and witnesses the tragedies of a world under invasion by countless races. Netizens cry out: “Please, boss, stop making us cry! We’ve run out of tears!” Later, the supreme deity of the abyss descends, and Xunguang City is on the verge of falling. Behind Lu Zheng appear a million heroic spirits who died in battle.
