Li Yunmeng was born into the Li family in Dahei Village. The good news is that her whole family dotes on her. The bad news is that her mother is so strong she can lift a boulder with one hand, while her father can barely earn three and a half work points in a day.
Li Yunmeng: “I got my strength from Mom and my laid-back attitude from Dad. I’m serious about lying flat.”
In 1977, when the national college entrance exams were reinstated, no one in the whole village could have dreamed that her father, Li Guoren, would get into Kyoto University. Her mother, Xu Jiarong, followed him to the capital, carrying a sandbag in one hand. She was hired on the spot as a security guard, then became head of the security team. The whole family moved into the university’s staff housing compound in the capital.
Li Yunmeng looked out the window and made up her mind: Since her parents were doing so well, she would lie flat in peace. Sleep until she woke naturally, eat at the cafeteria, bask in the sun, and take it easy.
Who could have guessed that Zhang Jiaming, the unlucky Kyoto University student sent with her father to Dahei Village, would return to Kyoto University with his father after the old man was exonerated, and from then on would trail after Mengmeng every chance he got?
She stretched out on a bench, and he sat beside her. She basked in the sun, and he blocked it. She opened one eye. “Why are you always following me?” He smiled. “I’m worried you’ll get bored lying there.”
She really is lazy, and she really is lucky. Her parents taking off in life was an unexpected bonus. Lying flat in peace is her lifelong wish.
It's okay now, but the author is a bit careless and the time doesn't match up.
It would be great to make into a comic. I hope the author can make it into a comic!!!
I still like this kind of novel about family harmony, but there are so many mistakes? Too lax!
To be honest, this is what I particularly like about the era of literature. Family harmony but not mindless, maybe I just like happy ones.
People who watch it feel warm
No emotion. . .
A rare piece of period writing, no intrigues, good reading, I love reading it
