An innocent young lamb from campus meets a seasoned workplace veteran.
Still in college, Lin Weiwei needs to pay off her gambling-addict father's debts. When she unexpectedly learns that end-of-life care can earn money, she begins trying to make a living at a hospital.
After one setback after another, she happens to meet Lin Geng, who is terminally ill. Holding up a little card she made herself, Lin Weiwei offers to “see him off.”
“Sir, are you dying soon?”
“You really do know how to say the most shocking things.”
Lin Geng initially has no intention of accepting Lin Weiwei's offer, but eventually finds himself with no choice but to take her up on it.
And so begins a farcical tale of life and death centered on end-of-life care.
