Contractual Prey

A cool-headed female lawyer vs. a roguish underworld boss, set in Hong Kong | Mature romance | Intense push and pull | Physical first, feelings later | She’s inexperienced, he’s not

Liang Siheng picked up a man in Lan Kwai Fong. He had an incredible body and a knife-sharp gaze. She took him home and discovered he was top-tier in bed. She thought it was a one-night stand, but the next day, the man became her client. He cornered her against a wall and grinned roguishly. “Lawyer Liang, I don’t think this was an accident.”

Liang Siheng was fed up. She was an elite lawyer, not someone looking for love. She brought out her signature move and slapped a Relationship Contract in front of him: no feelings, no involvement in each other’s lives, either party could end it at any time, and sex only.

He signed with a cigarette between his teeth. She thought everything was settled. Instead, it became the contract she would regret signing most in her life.

He kicked her door open in the middle of the night, his eyes bloodshot as he demanded, “Why do you smell like someone else’s perfume?” When she was kidnapped, he abandoned everything he owned and went alone to the docks, kneeling as he took every punch meant for her.

Later, Hong Kong’s famous “smiling tiger” knelt before her, offering the purity and sincerity he had guarded for thirty years. His voice trembled as he said, “Liang Siheng, I don’t want to honor a single word of that stupid contract anymore. From my heart to my body, I’m all yours. Do you dare take me?”
