This drama focuses on working women, particularly the many challenges and choices they face around motherhood.
The story follows three women at different stages of life who work at Yuguo Media. An Xin (played by Liu Mintao), a rival born in the 1970s, hits rock bottom after her husband's betrayal and workplace scheming force her to start over from scratch. Yao Wei (played by Wan Qian), a business director born in the 1980s, is a decisive, hard-driving "wolf-like" manager. But an unexpected pregnancy exposes her secret marriage to her colleague Cheng Liang (played by Bai Ke), plunging her career and family life into crisis. Liu Xiaoxi (played by Xing Fei), a new mother born in the 1990s, is overwhelmed as she struggles to raise her newborn while keeping up with her demanding job.
Once rivals, Yao Wei and An Xin gradually come to understand each other and join forces as they tackle a company crisis and their own personal troubles. Together with Liu Xiaoxi, the three women confront workplace discrimination, family conflicts, and life choices brought about by motherhood. Under mounting pressure, they support one another and bravely find their way forward. In the end, they not only reclaim their place and value in the workplace, but also resolve their relationship and family issues, offering a vivid interpretation of "the qualities of a lady": the resilience, wisdom, and generosity of modern women.
