Synopsis

More than 30,000 ironclad troops once fought tooth and nail on the Shanghai battlefield.

They drove back powerful enemies and guarded the nation's gates, never imagining that once the war ended, an unprecedented crisis would await them.

The army was about to be disbanded, leaving the soldiers with nowhere to go.

Huang Wen, a logistics officer, refused to bow his head.

He prepared ships, food, and supplies in advance. Just when everyone thought this ironclad army was about to vanish, he opened up a new path.

“If there’s no future for us here,”

“then we’ll go to Nanyang.”

The fleet set sail.

Destination: Borneo.

There were rubber, oil, and gold mines there, as well as millions of Chinese descendants living overseas.

Huang Wen would lead this battle-hardened army to establish a new home on unfamiliar shores.

From now on, their blades would be turned against powerful foes abroad, fighting only for their fellow countrymen!

Whoever stands in our way, we’ll take them down.
