But psychological traps left at the scene bring the police to a standstill, and she has no choice but to accept this brilliant maverick. As the investigation deepens, the silent forensic pathologist Zhao Xueqin, the terrified witness Chen Yuan, and Zhou Ming, a retired detective whose memories are crumbling, each prove to have secrets entangled with the old case.
