Rule Eight: Never Trust the Words on the Wall

Eight people take part in a survival challenge in an escape room, competing for a million-dollar prize. Seven rules are written on the wall.

Keep quiet. Don't look in the mirror after midnight. Don't go to the basement alone...

But at the very bottom of the list, someone has added an eighth rule in blood: Never believe anything written on the wall.

As those who follow the rules disappear one by one, and those who break them become less and less like themselves, I finally realize this isn't a game. It's an experiment that has been running for fifty years. The eighth rule is the only way out, and also the deepest trap.
