1953: From the Start, Heavy Industry for a Great Power Shocks the World

Lin Yu transmigrates to 1953, when the nation is struggling to rebuild, and from the start assembles an exoskeleton mechanical arm out of scrap metal at a junkyard.

A battle-hardened brigade commander happens to witness the scene. His eyes light up, and he immediately sends a military vehicle to spirit Lin Yu off to Harbin Institute of Technology in the middle of the night!

His superiors assign Lin Yu the task of leading a team to develop the country's first domestically made tractor and solve the nation's agricultural production problems.

After awakening the Great Nation Sci-Tech System, Lin Yu glances at the blueprints, scoffs, and turns around to start building a reactor in the lab.

A few months later, when a land combat mech powered by a miniature controlled nuclear fusion device rolls out of the factory, the entire school falls silent.

Watching the “farm equipment” blast half a mountain flat with one shot, the commander swallows and asks, “Is this what you call a weed whacker?”

A five-star general from Eagleland watches satellite footage of a supersonic stealth fighter and breaks down in despair, shouting that Huaxia must be cheating.

The chief expert from the Bear Nation is even worse. Faced with a fully automated smart artillery production line, he tears up the blueprints on the spot and begs Lin Yu to take him in.

Standing on the deck of an interstellar battleship, Lin Yu smiles faintly and announces to the world, “Huaxia really doesn't have a military industry. These are all purely civilian products.”
