[Domestic life + a tempting male lead]
There are no especially awful people here; everyone has their own flaws and virtues.
Zhang Laoliu transmigrates into the sixth child of the Zhang family. An arduous task immediately lies ahead: she died of exhaustion in her previous life, so how can she eat well and have fun in this one?
A glimpse of Zhang Laoliu slacking off.
On her first day there, Zhang Laoliu glances sideways at a pretty young educated woman beside her, who takes the opportunity to stuff corn into the pile belonging to an older village woman.
Without hesitation, Zhang Laoliu joins in, successfully cutting down on her workload.
She has a real knack for doing less work: she can’t compete with a seventy-year-old, nor can she keep up with an eight-year-old.
She’s happy as long as she matches a seven-year-old.
The work problem is solved, but she finds that relationships in the educated youth compound are getting more and more complicated. One person has a secret crush on someone, while another is stringing someone along.
As for her, she just watches the show with her legs swinging. Life is getting better and better: she has a place of her own, barely any work to do, entertainment indoors, and village kids to tease outdoors. Life is practically perfect.
But Wei Jian has his eye on her. Bathed in moonlight, he tries to trade a little of his good looks for something to eat, but he doesn’t expect to go too far…
It's more plot-oriented, and the supporting characters are pretty well portrayed. The male protagonist is also the kind of scheming guy I like. Although it's just the male protagonist I guess, I hope it is, and I hope there's more interaction. 😘
