A thousand years ago, Xie Xunhuan, Demon Lord of the Demon Realm, and Ye Yanci, master of Gui Xu Yaotai, entered into a celestial marriage.
Then, two hundred years ago, Xie Xunhuan accidentally raised a pair of twins, a boy and a girl, defying the laws of Heaven. A world-ending tribulation descended in a thunderous storm.
To protect his Dao companion, Ye Yanci endured ten times the punishment alone. His divine soul shattered, and he vanished without a trace.
Xie Xunhuan searched the Nine Heavens and Nine Hells for two hundred years, and finally found his scattered soul.
The once all-powerful lord of Yaotai had been reborn as the aloof, ascetic senior disciple of Qingxuan Sect.
His cultivation was profound, and his looks were unrivaled throughout the sect. But his memories were completely gone, and he didn't recognize his old lover at all.
His beloved was right there, so close to being brought back to life!
Xie Xunhuan tossed aside the affairs of the Demon Realm and Gui Xu Yaotai, left his son and daughter at home, and set off alone to pursue his husband!
He disguised himself as an ordinary person and tried to charm him, only to get one reply: “I'm sorry.”
Charm him and fail? Then he would break into the sect and become the little junior brother at his side!
From then on, the sect was never short of gossip.
The breathtaking little junior brother clung to the senior brother every day, acting cute and playing helpless, with one scheme after another.
The other disciples watched together and gossiped: “Senior Brother, watch out! The little junior brother is up to no good!”
Ye Yanci furrowed his brow. “Junior Brother, please stay at least three feet away from me.”
Xie Xunhuan looked pitiful and wronged on the outside, while inside his mind, his plans clicked into place: First, win him over. Then bring back his divine soul, fulfill their celestial marriage, and deal with the two kids left to fend for themselves at home. He could sort out the rest of those matters later!
As they spent their days together, the love sealed away for a thousand years began to grow wildly once more.
Then the truth about the celestial marriage, the tribulation, and their two children was finally revealed.
The amnesiac, ascetic senior brother's eyes widened in shock: ???
The gorgeous little junior brother who'd been clinging to me every day is actually the Demon Lord I lawfully married, and we even have a pair of children together!
Original setting, both are each other's only one.
