Undercover: You Were Supposed to Be a Stand-In, So Why Are You Flirting with the Boss’s Wife?

[Imposter Undercover Agent + Anti-Trope + Overwhelming Intellect + Extreme Violence + Pretending Turns Real]

While other undercover agents live in constant fear, Lu Yuan goes undercover as a suit-wearing thug.

He infiltrates the Chen family in Jiangzhou, posing as the useless young master who died. The moment he opens his eyes, the family’s First and Third Branches are already trying to use him as a human sacrifice.

Faced with the lethal tricks of the Punishment Hall’s chief interrogator, Lu Yuan turns the tables and forces him to sign a life-or-death contract.

In front of the entire family’s gunmen, he unbuttons his shirt to reveal a back covered in battle scars. He somehow passes off old wounds from the Golden Triangle wars as “devilish training to cure a man’s disease,” then flicks his knife and slices the interrogator’s eyeball right out.

The police produce a corpse containing the real young master’s DNA to convict him. Lu Yuan laughs out loud in court, turns their own tactics against them, pins a forged-evidence charge on the First Branch, and strolls right out of the police station.

The Third Branch’s elder lays a trap at a lavish banquet, setting dozens of elite fighters in ambush.

Once Lu Yuan has eaten and drunk his fill, he flips the table!

He takes a hail of submachine-gun fire with his bare body and cuts his way through a hundred-meter corridor with a single broad-bladed saber. Ten minutes later, he is sitting on the Third Branch elder’s private sofa, lighting a cigarette with a bloodstained lighter.

“Your firepower isn’t even enough to scratch an itch.”
