My Best Friend Is a Zombie

Doomsday, two heroines | No CP, wandering and redemption

The apocalypse arrived without warning. Civilization collapsed, and the zombie virus swept across the globe.

Her best friend was bitten and plunged into the abyss of mutation, becoming a zombie unlike any other. Yet she never lost her mind. She retained all her memories and her gentle nature, though her body no longer belonged to a human.

To save her only dearest friend, Chu Jiangxin shouldered her pack and set off on a long journey north, accompanied by her half-human, half-zombie companion.

Their destination: the distant Arctic, where her parents worked at a polar research station. It was the one place in the apocalypse where a cure might still exist.

Across the long, desolate wasteland, they traversed barren landscapes and witnessed the ruins of the world. But a mutated zombie with self-awareness was the most tempting research specimen of all. If her friend was discovered, she would face nothing but capture, imprisonment, and dissection while still alive.

So they kept a low profile, concealed their strength, and took every step with caution as they struggled to survive.

Everyone feared zombies. Only she was willing to wander beside her zombie friend, staking the rest of her life on a faint hope of redemption.

In this desolate apocalypse, everyone walks alone. We have only each other.

The road ahead is unknown, and the journey through wind and snow is long. Can they cross a ravaged world, reach the Arctic safely, and find a chance to survive?
