Boundless Gambit

“Welcome to the Game of Fate!”

Life or death hangs on every choice.

Everyone plays against everyone, humans against ghosts. Can you change the future by clearing the game?

Is this a second life granted by the gods, or just amusement for someone standing in the “future”?

A magnificent, eerie European manor; a remote inn fraught with danger; a zero-sum game of pursuit and escape; hidden currents in a pear garden spanning time and space; an asylum that seems perfectly normal; an abandoned amusement park at midnight...

Every instance is a step toward the truth.

The naive Jiang Nan meets Chu Xiao, a cold, precise “magician” who seems to have foreseen everything. They appear to fall for each other at first sight and team up to transmigrate through one terrifying instance after another. What horrifying secrets lie behind the lifelike, exquisite wax figures? What is the mysterious entity that covets life? Is the person chasing you in the card game also fleeing from someone else? Is this return after thirty years driven solely by hatred? What sordid dealings lie behind the seemingly normal asylum? Will the roller coaster leading to a shore of eternal peace return to its starting point...

There are no answers. Everything is left to interpretation.

What are Jiang Nan and Chu Xiao hiding from each other? Who is really behind the game? How did G-Watch end up in his hands? Why was he the one chosen?

Jiang Nan doesn’t know whether tomorrow or disaster will arrive first, but he knows one thing:

He wants to survive alongside Chu Xiao.
