Shen Ge got lucky. Just before he died, he used the [Shady Maps] app's "Buy Now, Pay Later" feature to snatch his life back.
The price was ten years of his lifespan, paid in forty-eight installments.
From that day on, he was a freshman at a sports college by day and a wage slave by night, hunting urban legends for [Shady Maps] to pay off his debt.
By chance, he accidentally activated a hidden feature on the map: the [Shady Forum].
Every post on it described an unsolved case in Wancheng:
A missing girl, a water ghost on a rainy night, and an account that never goes offline.
Shen Ge treated the posts like bounty notices, clicking on one after another.
Much later, he slowly realized something: the posters' avatars had always been gray.
Yet most of them had already left this world before they ever made their posts.
So buckle up. Shady Maps is navigating for you…
