Global power outages, heating collapse, and darkness and cold waves engulfed cities. Xu Ran, the owner of a scrap station, accidentally obtained a "waste recycling system" that can remove survival modules from scrapped old objects, but it cannot create energy out of thin air. In order to find his missing sister, he started from the underground recycling station, competed for heat sources, formulated rations, fought against the mutated ecology, and established a supply line for survivors in the long night.
