A bedtime pop-up appears: “Go to the Backrooms? Choose four of nine powers.” Lin Yue assumes it’s a high-quality scam, picks four at random, and closes it: Plane Anchoring, Entity Suppression, Source-Matter Assimilation, and Observation Resonance.

When he opens his eyes again, he sees yellowing wallpaper and buzzing fluorescent lights. Backrooms Level 0. A girl crouches beside him, clutching a baseball bat and about to rummage through a trash can. Her name is Xing. She has just dealt with Belobog’s Stellaron and has been thrown in here too.

Even worse, a notice pops up before them: “Livestream started. Current viewers: everyone aboard the Astral Express.” The entire Honkai: Star Rail universe is watching these two!

This place exists one dimension above their world, and everyone who enters is suppressed. Xing has a baseball bat, while Lin Yue has nothing in his hands. But all four “scam options” are real: he can beat concept-form monsters with his bare hands, grow stronger with every fight, and even use the audience’s emotions as buffs. Weapons? He’ll pick some up in the Backrooms later.

From Level 0 to the Red Hallway, to the native civilization deep in the Backrooms… He’ll fight his way through every level. The stream has only just begun!
